A life connected to the sea.
Since 1984, Lagoon has stood for the development of innovative catamarans that combine freedom, comfort and the joy of sailing. Experienced boat builders, renowned naval architects and designers develop and build exceptional yachts for people who love the sea and want to discover the world from the water.

Space, light and the view outside.
Lagoon stands for generous living areas, light-flooded saloons and flowing transitions between inside and outside. Innovative boat building, elegant design and well-thought-out functionality create a distinctive feeling of life on the water.
Renowned partners such as VPLP Design, Patrick le Quément and Nauta Design combine their expertise in naval architecture, exterior design and interior design. The result is catamarans that harmoniously combine comfort, aesthetics and sailing performance.
From an idea to a model family.
The beginnings.
The brand emerged in the environment of Jeanneau Techniques Avancées, a unit dedicated to technical innovation. The first Lagoon 55 was developed.
The first Lagoon 55.
The first Lagoon 55 is presented. The early development combines materials and production methods from demanding yacht building with catamaran architecture focused on comfort.
Bordeaux and series development.
Construction Navale Bordeaux becomes part of the Beneteau Group. The model family grows; with the Lagoon 410, vertical windows become a characteristic design feature.
The flybridge as a new perspective.
The Lagoon 440 introduces a raised helm area. The combination of flybridge, forward cockpit and large hull windows further develops the living space on board. The source also describes the Lagoon 420 Hybrid as an early diesel-electric development.
NEW YACHT CONCEPTS.
Models such as the Lagoon 620 and Lagoon 42 expand the model range. Different sizes and layouts bring new possibilities for private cruising, charter operations and crewed use.
The current models.
Today's model range extends from the Lagoon 38 to the EIGHTY 2 under sail, as well as the SIXTY 7 and EIGHTY 3 with motor power. The innovative Lagoon 47 complements the range with a directly connected forward cockpit and variable interiors.
Many disciplines. One yacht.
Architecture.
Well-thought-out hull shapes, high stability and generous spatial concepts form the basis of every Lagoon catamaran. Experienced naval architects combine sailing performance, safety and living comfort into a harmonious whole.
Design.
Elegant lines, generous living areas and flowing transitions between inside and outside characterise Lagoon's design language. Every detail combines aesthetics with functionality and creates a distinctive feeling of life on board.
Production.
In Lagoon's French shipyards, experienced boat builders and engineers combine traditional craftsmanship with modern production technologies. Precision, high-quality materials and careful workmanship are at the heart of every yacht.
Network.
A worldwide network of authorised dealers and service partners supports Lagoon owners far beyond the purchase. Personal advice, technical service and competent contacts ensure long-term support – even while travelling.
SUSTAINABILITY AS A COMMITMENT.
The love of the sea comes with responsibility. That is why Lagoon relies on more sustainable materials, resource-saving production methods and innovative energy solutions. Bio-based resins, recycled glass fibres and wood from responsible forestry reduce the environmental impact of construction. Solar technology and energy-efficient on-board systems also help to reduce the ecological footprint at sea.
